2018 REAL ESTATE TAX INFORMATIONIf you have a question about the assessment of your property since the 2017 countywide reassessment, you must call the Lancaster County Assessment Office at 717-299-8381.

ATTENTION SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED RESIDENTSIf you are 65 years or older, or a widow/widower 50 years of age or older, or permanently disabled and 18 years of age or older, and your income in 2015 (excluding one-half of Social Security income) did not exceed $35,000, you may be eligible for a Pennsylvania State Property Tax or Rent Rebate of up to $650 on your 2015 real estate taxes. The amount of the rebate is based on the combined income of the property owner and his/her spouse. I will have a limited number of applications for this rebate at my office beginning in March 2018, or you may call the Lancaster County Office of Aging (717-299-7979, or toll-free 1-800-801-3070) in order to have a form mailed to you.
ATTENTION DISABLED VETERANS: If you are an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. armed services, you are 100% disabled as a result of a war injury, or you have other service-related disability, and you have financial need, you may apply to the Lancaster County Directors of Veterans Affairs to determine whether you qualify for an exoneration of your real estate taxes. If you believe you may qualify for this exoneration, phone the LCDVA at 717-299-7920.
